Ultra light bug shelter - BIGGIE MESH
BIGGIE MESH shelter is set up with trekking poles, stretched between trees or suspended to a tarp. Reliably protects against insects and adds a few degrees to the overall comfort temperature of the sleeping system. The inner area of the shelter - 2.42 sq.m.
Catenary cut provides perfect tension. Tensioners (line lock) will help ease and fast adjust shelter. Stakes and poles are not included.
When used with the Biggie Tarp or Simplex Max Tarp, you can get an ultra light frameless double-layer tent for two persons.
Seams of the shelter are non-sealed. For sealing the seams, we recommend sealant based on silicone.

This mesh inner creates a double-wall shelter, combining insect protection with reliable weather resistance when paired with the Biggie Tarp or Simplex Max Tarp.
Designed with a catenary cut for optimal tension, the Biggie Mesh pitches easily with trekking poles or by suspending between trees. The line locks allow for quick and precise adjustments. The NoSeeUm mesh fabric provides excellent airflow and keeps insects out. The shelter includes two internal pockets, adding practical storage for small items like headlamps or snacks.
One thing to note is that the seams aren’t factory-sealed, so applying a silicone-based seam sealer is recommended to ensure full waterproofing. With its compact pack size and functional design, the Biggie Mesh 2P is a superb addition for anyone looking to maintain ultralight standards without sacrificing comfort.
