Our Verdict
The Apidura Backcountry Saddle Pack 6 L is a well-engineered mid-capacity pack designed for any bikepackign trip. At 250 g, it feels robust yet remains practical for lighter setups. The welded Hexalon fabric provides dependable water resistance, while reinforced panels protect against abrasion from grit and debris.
The three-point attachment holds the pack securely on uneven ground, minimising movement even on uneven tracks. The roll-top closure and compression valve make it easy to cinch down contents for a stable, compact shape. Mounting is straightforward and compatible with dropper posts, provided there is sufficient clearance.
