A supportive 32-litre pack with a properly adjustable carry system.
Cotopaxi says:
Explore wildflower-studded hillsides and alpine vistas with this do-it-all pack, designed for day treks or overnighters. The Arenal 32L Pack will undoubtedly stay in the rotation season after season, equipped with water bottle pockets, a roomy main compartment, and easy-access hip pockets. Durable yet lightweight, this pack can handle rugged adventures. You can even strap on an ice axe or trekking poles when your adventures get a little techy.
Our Verdict
The Cotopaxi Arenal 32L Backpack combines a four-inch torso adjustment with a frame sheet and contoured hip belt, giving it more tailored support than most simple daypacks. At 1,137g, it is not particularly light, but the extra structure makes sense for long days or compact overnight kit.
The top-loading design keeps the main compartment simple, while accessible bottle pockets, hip-belt storage and compression straps make frequently used gear easier to manage. Trekking-pole and ice-axe attachments are also nice to see
The ventilated back panel helps reduce heat build-up, though it will not remain dry during sustained climbs. I particularly like the combination of adjustable fit and a stable, narrow profile.
