This weight of Alpha is our heaviest, best for very chilly summer nights, as an active layer in the fall, and worn under a puffy in the depths of winter. You will not be disappointed by the warmth to weight ratio of these (~6oz), and the unbeatable softness of this fabric!
This is an inherently delicate fabric and must be treated as such! It will snag easily, so keep it away from Velcro, dog claws, and definitely don’t bushwhack in it!

Built with Polartec Alpha Direct (120gsm), it offers excellent breathability and warmth during high-output activities, keeping you comfortable on the move. The wide fit serves as the men’s version, with a straighter cut and extra room through the torso for easy layering.
Weighing around 200g (Medium), it balances warmth and low weight, working well as a standalone layer in cool conditions or as a midlayer under a shell. The simple drawcord hood adds weather protection and fits neatly under outer layers.
The fabric is soft, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying, ideal for dynamic use in cold weather. Just note that its airy structure, while great for thermoregulation, can be delicate and prone to snagging.
