In addition to being made from 100% leftover black fabrics, this Allpa 28L is newly redesigned, reflecting our quest for pack perfection. While all the customer-favorite features of our bestselling Allpas remain, we’ve made a few game-changing updates.
New features include air mesh shoulder straps for an ultra-comfortable carry, an exterior stretch water bottle pocket, and a luggage pass-through strap that easily slides over a roller bag handle.
Identical to our standard Allpa 28L Travel Pack in features and function, this Del Día version uses high-quality deadstock fabric that might have otherwise ended up in the landfill, making each pack one-of-a-kind.
This backpack was made from 100% deadstock fabric scraps, which helps keep good material out of the landfill.
Deadstock is leftover high-quality fabric that hasn’t been used by the original manufacturer or retailer. Using deadstock reduces textile waste and is better for the planet. On average, a product made with deadstock has an estimated 30% smaller carbon footprint than a product made with new fabric.

Our Verdict
The suitcase-style opening is what makes the Cotopaxi Allpa 28L Travel Pack work so well. Its three zipped internal sections keep clothing, toiletries and smaller items separated without relying entirely on packing cubes.
This updated version adds air-mesh shoulder straps, a stretch bottle pocket and a luggage pass-through, all of which make it easier to use through airports and stations.
Del Día Dark means each pack is made from leftover black deadstock fabrics, so the exact panels vary slightly while retaining a more subdued appearance than Cotopaxi’s usual bright colour combinations.
