The Buff 5 Panel Chill Cap weighs 87g and swaps technical fabrics for 100% cotton. The fit is adjustable with a rear closure, and the internal sweatband helps manage moisture when temperatures rise. The structure holds well without feeling rigid, and the cotton build gives it a softer, more laid-back feel compared to performance-focused caps. Breathability is reasonable, though not on the same level as mesh or synthetic options. While this may not be my go-to for serious trekking or high-intensity activity, it’s a reliable piece for casual use, travel, or warm-weather downtime when comfort is the priority.
