A simple fix for wet-weather walking
Exped says:
Waterproof cover for popular pack sizes.
Our Verdict
The 2026 Raincover keeps things straightforward, with a snug elasticated fit that stays more secure in the wind than others I have used. I also like that the updated sizing now better caters to smaller daypacks rather than focusing purely on larger trekking packs. The 70D fabric feels robust enough for regular use without becoming overly heavy, and the 7000mm waterproof rating is reassuring for prolonged rain.
Like any raincover, though, it works best alongside a pack liner or dry bags for valuables, as water can still creep in around the harness.
