Our Verdict
These 100% Merino wool Long Johns are next to skin soft and naturally order resistant, so you can wear them for a few days on the trail without being too smelly. They are breathable and have excellent moisture management, keeping you dry and comfortable when exerting yourself even with layers over the top. The flat-locked seams prevent chafing, and the gusseted crotch keeps everything comfortably in place.
I use these as a thermal baselayer when winter trekking; they are warm and cosy, but I get most use out of these as my lightweight PJs the rest of the year, so I get a lot of use out of these.
