Our Verdict
The Trail 2.4 feels purpose-built for running and fastpacking. The Medium size weighs 194g and fits trail shoes cleanly. The updated adapter allows small length adjustments, improving stability by keeping the plates centred under the sole. The elastomer harness stretches easily and holds the crampons firmly in place without creating pressure points or warping the shoe's structure.
Grip from the fourteen 8 mm spikes is consistent on ice and frozen ground. The micro-rope linking system is incredibly durable yet keeps the weight down, and I find it comfortable underfoot even during longer efforts.
Fit stays reliable as long as the crampons are used with running shoes rather than heavier boots. Durability seems reasonable for their intended use, though it's always worth giving them a check over and a quick dry after use.
Packed in the supplied case, they remain compact and easy to stow. For runners and fast movers who want dependable grip without excess bulk, these crampons offer a focused and effective solution.

Material & Construction
- All metal components in stainless steel. Heat treated crampon plates to a greater mechanical resistance. Nevertheless, due to the stainless steel’s high carbon content, light superficial oxidation/rust’s traces may appears.
