Our Verdict
The SAXX Smooth Flex Light Compression Boxer Brief has made a real difference to my hiking comfort. Chafing was something I used to struggle with on longer days, but since switching to SAXX, I simply do not have that issue anymore.
The light compression fit feels supportive without being restrictive, and the fabric stretches naturally as you move. I particularly like the BallPark Pouch design, which keeps everything secure and reduces irritation in a way that standard boxer briefs never managed for me.
Breathability is strong, and the quick-drying material stays comfortable even when working hard. The waistband sits flat, the legs stay in place, and the seams feel smooth against the skin.
At 86g (Medium), they are a small but worthwhile upgrade for anyone prioritising comfort on the trail.
