Our Verdict
The Rab Trek Gaiters provide solid protection for wet-weather trekking. At 173 g (Medium), they’re light but feel durable, with reinforced ankle panels and a secure TPU underfoot strap that stays in place over boots. The hook-and-loop front closure is quick to adjust and seals well against water and debris.
They’re comfortable enough for long walks, with an elasticated ankle that keeps the fit snug without rubbing. The ripstop nylon fabric handles rough ground confidently and dries quickly after wet conditions. While they’re not designed for deep snow or alpine climbs, they’re reliable, low-fuss, and well-made for muddy trails and mixed-weather hiking.
