Our Verdict
At 330 g (Medium), it feels light yet substantial enough for long days on the hill. The Thermic Pro fleece fabric offers a firm, smooth face that resists wind, helping regulate temperature, while the gridded inner traps heat without holding moisture. The cut is trim but certainly not restrictive, with excellent mobility for climbing or fast hiking thanks to the incredibly stretchy material. The hood fits neatly under a helmet, and the pockets sit clear of a harness or pack belt.
Breathability is impressive when moving uphill or working hard, keeping comfort consistent across changing conditions. Overall, the Quantra Pro stands out as a refined, durable layer for high-output days in cool to cold climates, but also as a ready-to-go midlayer for year-round use.
