Our Verdict
The Suprabeam Q1mini is a tiny but mighty torch that packs a punch. Despite its miniature size and lightweight 38g aluminium body, it produces an impressive 120 lumens of bright LED light. The rotating Hyperfocus beam allows you to smoothly adjust from a wide 70-degree flood to a focused 10-degree spot beam with just a twist.
One of the best features is the intelligent light control with the metal touch switch. You can easily cycle between a high sustained mode for maximum brightness or a low mode for extended 5-hour runtime without constantly clicking the switch on and off. The 2-step switch is also designed for durability.
While made for keychain/pocket use, the Q1mini throws an ample 60-meter beam for its compact size. It strikes a nice balance of bright light and long battery life from a single AAA battery. The anodised aluminium body and IPX4 water resistance add to its robustness.
