Our Verdict
The VÅGA Pacer Cap, at 34g, is lightweight, and the water-resistant nylon fabric does a good job of shrugging off drizzle. The short EVA brim gives decent shade without getting in the way, and the fast-adjust drawcord makes it easy to fine-tune the fit mid-run — a small detail that makes a big difference. The open-pore sweatband keeps things comfortable even on long climbs or exposed ridgelines.
