Our Verdict
The Nitecore NB10000 Gen 4 is a sleek update to one of the most popular 10,000mAh power banks in the ultralight community. At 144g, it remains a standout option for anyone trying to keep electronics topped up without carrying unnecessary bulk.
Compared to earlier versions, the Gen 4 feels more polished in day-to-day use, with improved efficiency modes and a tougher waterproof rating that makes it better suited to wet UK conditions. The knock-to-wake indicators and RGB port lights are genuinely useful when charging in low light.
It is also nice to see two USB-C charging ports, though it is worth being mindful that some watches, cameras, and GPS devices still rely on USB-A, so compatibility is something to check before heading out.
The addition of the small charging cable lanyard is a nice touch if you forget your own; however, I would not rely on just that, as it is quite short.
