With a Full Nylon interior the Moondance 2FN allows you greater protection, particularly in cold and wintery conditions. Ultralight 20 denier rip-stop Nylon provides insulation in colder climates, more protection from condensation coming off the fly, and prevents wind-blown snow coming in if the weather really turns on you.

Mont Moondance Tents feature a lightweight 25,000mm+ WaterBloc™ PU laminated Nylon floor. 25,000mm+ waterhead: that is more than twice the waterhead of any other tent on the market (and ten to twenty times the waterhead of some of them!).
Mont Tents are sold fully seam sealed, waterproof and ready for rain straight out of the box. There is no need to seam seal your new Mont tent.

Mont Adventure Equipment is an Australian company known for making high-performance gear for demanding alpine conditions, with a focus on low weight, precise design, and reliable materials. The Moondance 2 FN Tent is a clear example of that design philosophy.
Think of the Moondance 2 FN Tent as a “three-season-plus” tent. The full-height 20 D nylon inner provides improved insulation, better wind resistance, and reduced exposure to condensation compared to the mesh variant. It adds a small amount of weight but brings clear benefits for colder or alpine use. The roof vent can be fully or partially opened from inside the tent, making it easy to regulate airflow without leaving your sleeping area.
Internal space is generous for two, with 2.86 m² of floor area, twin doors, and vestibules on both sides. Four internal pockets and a ceiling clip help with organisation. The symmetrical layout and DAC Featherlite pole system make pitching quick and straightforward, with the same three-point guy system used across the range to improve tension and stability.
The 40 D waterproof floor (25,000 mm+ waterhead) and fully seam-sealed construction have held up well under wet and windy conditions. With solid performance and dependable build quality, the FN variant is well-suited to those needing more shelter than a standard three-season tent can offer.
