Our Verdict
At 106 g (Medium), the Duality Gloves are a mid-weight option that combines GORE-TEX waterproofing, PrimaLoft Gold insulation, and a softshell outer. The balance is excellent: warm enough for cold, wet weather, yet still dextrous thanks to the stretch shell and supple goat leather palm. The brushed lining feels comfortable against the skin, and the touch screen compatibility is a practical addition.
The cuff closes neatly with a Velcro strap, though the fit can feel snug around the fingers, particularly if hands are damp. For durability, the leather reinforcement inspires confidence, while the shell resists abrasion in regular use. In very severe cold, I would pair them with a liner, but for general winter mountain use, they strike a compromise between warmth, weather protection and usability.
