Our Verdict
The Lost Ranger 3N1 0F offers a practical, well-executed take on modular sleep systems. The two-part design features an inner mummy bag and a quilted outer bag, which function across three configurations. The combined setup insulates reliably to around −9 °C. Fit is a strong point. The semi-rectangular outer feels roomy while the mummy contours comfortably for cooler nights. The Padlock system keeps everything aligned with your mat, and the Pillow Barn adds real value for side sleepers. It is a relief not sliding off your mat or chase a drifting pillow in the middle of the night.
At 1681g (Medium), it is relatively light for a bag capable of handling such low temperatures, particularly when factoring in the full modular setup. The system relies on your mat to provide insulation underneath, which works well if paired with a properly rated pad.
