Our Verdict
The Buff Lightweight Merino Wool Headband is a small but mighty addition to any hiking kit. At just 12 grams, it offers excellent temperature regulation and odour resistance thanks to its 100% Merino wool construction. Soft against the skin and naturally moisture-wicking, it keeps sweat and hair out of the way without feeling bulky.
At 9cm wide, it provides just enough coverage to keep ears warm in cooler conditions while remaining breathable in warmer weather. Its lightweight fabric makes it easy to stash in a pocket and doubles as a wristband or neck warmer in a pinch. While it won’t replace a full hat in extreme cold, it’s perfect for high-output activities where breathability matters.
