Building on the success of the original Ground Control Pegs from Sea To Summit come the Ultralight version. They are shorter and thinner whilst remaining very lightweight and amazingly strong.

Available separately as well as supplied with all Alto and Telos tents, our Ground Control Light Tent Pegs are ultralight yet super strong. Our unique TriPoint shape has a wide front-face to maximise grip in varying terrain while the short spine increases rigidity. The unique multiple notches allow guy cord attachment closer to the ground for more secure anchoring. These ultralight tent pegs are made from premium aircraft grade 7075-T6 aluminium alloy that is exceptionally strong and rigid—yet each peg weighs just 7g | 0.25oz!
Our Verdict
Sea to Summit's Ground Control Light Tent Pegs have used the success of the original pegs and developing a lighter weight, more compact version. They still offer great strength for their weight with each peg weighing 7g while measuring 15cm in length. They have a strong three sided design with notches to position the guy ropes closest to the ground.
Despite these light pegs being shorter and lighter than the original they are still a good length, provide a very strong hold and weigh half as much which significantly increases their versatility. Year-round use for tents, tarps, ground sheets and anything else you might need to peg down.
