Gramless Pack Ultra 35L - this is an ultra light and minimalistic backpack for UL (Ultralight) hikers.
The backpack has a minimalistic and simple design and construction. The the main body of the backpack has a rolltop design. There are 2 options for closing the rolltop - closing on the sides and the classic upper rolltop.
The backpack has 5 pockets for quick access, convenient placement and easy packing of gear.
The backpack has a removable hip belt from a webbing straps.
Lacing is provided for attaching additional gear on the sides and in the lower part of the backpack. The lacing system over the front pocket can be used for drying clothes during hikes.
The backpack helps to improve your speed, efficiency, increase hiking distance on the trail. Ideally for those who want to save every gram in their gear.
Our Verdict
The Liteway Gramless Pack Ultra 35L is a refined option for those dialled into ultralight systems. Weighing 432g (Small/Medium), it offers a practical 35-litre capacity with a clean frameless design and just enough structure from pad loops along the back. The Ultra 200 fabric is waterproof and abrasion-resistant, but the seams are not sealed, so the pack itself is not fully waterproof. It sheds light rain well but still benefits from an internal liner.
The roll-top closure seals out the weather effectively and helps to compress loads, and adapts to your pack size well. Five external pockets, including generous side sleeves, and a large mesh front pocket make organisation simple.
Comfort depends on thoughtful packing and pad placement, but it handles loads up to 12kg well for a frameless pack. The removable webbing hipbelt is basic but works adequately. It doesn’t include hipbelt pockets, but the shoulder strap pockets are well-sized for bottles or small items.

Material & Construction
- Ultra™ 200 is a woven fabric made of 67% UHMWPE and 33% Repreve recycled polyester. The proprietary Challenge RUV recycled film backing is 100% recycled and 97% UV Resistant. Every yard of Ultra™ 200 saves over one pound of CO2, compared to a Nylon pack fabric.
The main material (fabric) of the backpack is 100% waterproof, but please, pay attention that the seams of the backpack are not sealed. This means that the backpack is not waterproof.
