Well-built and impressively wind-resistant, the Fire Maple FMS-125 PRO is a solid remote canister stove for serious camp cooking in variable conditions.
Fire Maple says:
FMS-125 PRO stove boasts a steadfast dual-row anti-slip stand and a superior wind-resistant construction, ensuring a stable, consistent flame in varying conditions.
Our Verdict
At 279g, it’s not the lightest option, but it more than earns its place when you do more than just boil water. The broad, anti-slip pot supports feel stable with larger cookware, and the high-output 3240W burner offers quick boil times without hot spots. The flame holds remarkably steady in the wind, and the swirl design distributes heat evenly. The integrated piezo ignition is convenient, though I’d still pack a lighter as backup. Folding down small and sitting low to the ground would be good for longer trips or basecamps where stability and versatility outweigh the need for ultralight simplicity.
