Built for bright, high places and long exposure, these offer full-spectrum coverage.
Julbo says:
Faster, stronger, higher: high mountaineering is changing, and the same is true for Julbo's flagship model. More ergonomic, better ventilation, slimmer and more stylish, EXPLORER 2.0 reaches new summits in performance. With large coverage, removable shields, 360° adjustable temples and high protection lenses, these glacier sunglasses are designed for extreme conditions without any compromise.
Our Verdict
The Julbo Explorer 2.0 Reactiv 0-4 High Contrast sunglasses are a serious tool for serious altitude. The photochromic lenses shift from nearly clear (86% VLT) to extremely dark (4%), making them a dependable choice in exposed snowfields, high passes, and blinding midday sun.
The frame is slimmer and more comfortable than the original Explorer, featuring adjustable temples that help you fine-tune the fit under a helmet or hat.. Venting is enough to keep fogging at bay, even on challenging ascents, and the removable side shields add flexibility without being fiddly.
