Warm, compact and confidence-inspiring. A serious winter bag built with excellent materials and precise workmanship that’s ready for demanding alpine conditions.
Pajak says:
The Core 750 from Pajak is the ideal down sleeping bag for ambitious winter tours and expeditions in frosty regions. Filled with 880 g (size Regular) of high-quality 700 cuin RDS-certified Polish duck down, it offers reliable insulation down to an extreme temperature of -32 °C (according to EN 13537) - and all this at a total weight of just 1300 g.
Thanks to the robust and lightweight TORAY™ Airtastic™ outer material with DWR coating, the sleeping bag remains efficient and comfortable even in damp weather. The cleverly designed design includes external suspension loops, a one-hand adjustment in the hip area and an included compression and storage bag for space-saving packing.
With a packing volume of just 6 liters, the Core 750 is a particularly compact winter sleeping bag - perfect for winter bivouacs, snowshoe hikes, mountaineering or as a safe choice for routes above the tree line.
For all those who want to sleep comfortably even in sub-zero temperatures - light, warm and reliable.
Our Verdict
The Pajak Core 750 Down Sleeping Bag is a thoughtfully engineered winter bag that combines reliable warmth with low weight and strong build quality. Filled with 700 cuin Polish duck down and protected by a Toray Airtastic shell treated with DWR, it provides impressive insulation for a bag weighing 1317 g (Regular) and packing to just 6 litres. The angled Z-baffle construction evenly distributes the down, eliminating cold spots, while the well-shaped hood and full draft collar effectively seal in warmth during long nights in sub-zero temperatures.
The interior has a slightly more generous cut than many technical alpine bags, making it easier to turn or wear insulated layers without compressing the fill. The outer fabric feels tough for its weight, sheds light moisture. The down recovers loft quickly after compression. Breathability is well judged, preventing internal damp from building up over multi-day use.
Overall, the Core 750 offers an excellent balance of warmth, durability and packability. It’s a dependable choice for cold bivouacs, snowshoe touring or high-level winter camping where a combination of efficient construction and trustworthy down performance is essential.
