Our Verdict
The Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL3 Long is the solution to a long standing issue of finding a top class tent that is suitable for the taller user, but the extra room also makes it great for those looking to get their gear in the tent without feeling to cramped, which can offten be an issue when sharing with freinds, family or even your dog. However the extra length and height make this a tent that is easy to move around in and pretty comfortable of you end up stuck inside on a misrable day.
The Copper Spur long includes all the features that have made the normal Copper Spur 2020 one of the best freestanding tends on the market and also one of our best sellers.
These features include the a very light but durable fly sheet that makes it suitable for summer to Autumn use which is easily attachable to the inner tent using the buckle system which makes pitching very fast and easy. The inner tent is a mix of both fabric and mesh which makes it perfect as a three season then as it offers both a level of breathability for warmer conditions preventing condensation, but its also not the wind tunnel that full mess inners can be in colder condtions. As with all the Copper Spur range there is also a lot of pockets and storage areas inside the tent that make it easier not to get a cluttered tent and to find the things you need quickly.
The Long version also includes the unique feature of the Copper spur range which is the awning doors on both vestibules, that due to the extra height of the tent provide you with even more space than the standard version. The vestibules themselves are also larger than the standard version so have an increased amount of storage space on what was an already generous size.
