Pure Clear ‘Active’ Filter Bottle Review - "Perfect if there is a regular water source to collect from as it eliminates the need to carry excess fluid''

I have used this 750 litre bottle as my main hydration system for 2 multi-day trips. It is perfect if there is a regular water source to collect from as it eliminates the need to carry excess fluid. Setting the bottle up for the first time requires the filter to be sat in water for a couple of minutes to activate it, then put it into the bottle. Using the Active Water Filter Bottle is very easy, simply unscrew the lid (which has the straw attached) and fill the bottle from the water source. Then screw the lid back on and you are ready to drink through the straw. As you need to suck through the straw it is a bit difficult to get a huge ‘glug’, but this is the only downside.
This Pure Clear filter protects against 99.99% of bacteria and viruses with each filter lasting for 200 litres or 2 months, so not only is it good for outdoor activities, but it is also good for foreign travel, making tap water drinkable.
The hard clear bottle is aesthetically pleasing and the silicone mouthpiece is comfortable to use. It also comes with a removeable carabiner.
