Gore-Tex Paclite 2.5 Layer Laminate Construction
It’s the strikingly minimalist construction of GORE-TEX PACLITE® garments that allows them to be so lightweight and packable. The GORE-TEX membrane is bonded directly to an outer shell material, then covered by a durable protective layer made of an oleophobic (anti-oil) substance and carbon.
This protective layer makes a separate lining unnecessary. All this results in an extremely lightweight, packable garment that you can take anywhere.

Our View on GORE-TEX Paclite:
GORE-TEX Paclite has a high water resistance but doesn't seem to have high breathability, most suited to low exertion activities. It also tends to feel 'clammy' inside.
