Lifesystems says:
The Lifesystems Bike First Aid Kit is a compact and lightweight solution designed for 1-2 people. Weighing just 225 grams, it contains 20 essential components neatly organised into four labelled compartments for easy access. From tapes and plasters for minor cuts and grazes to wound closure strips and dressings for deeper injuries, this kit equips cyclists to handle a variety of common biking injuries. In addition, it includes a triangular bandage for shoulder support, a finger splint, and a sterile wash pod for wound cleaning and eye irrigation.
The fabric of the first aid kit is water-repellent, ensuring that its contents remain protected from moisture during outdoor adventures. For added safety, the kit also contains a whistle for signalling in remote locations. A primary care leaflet is provided for guidance on administering first aid effectively, making this kit a comprehensive and essential addition to any cyclist's gear.
Our Verdict
At 214g, the Lifesystems Bike First Aid Kit fits neatly in a frame or saddlebag. I’ve used it on remote rides, and everything stayed dry thanks to the water-repellent case. The layout makes grabbing what you need quickly easy, especially useful when dealing with scrapes, blisters or a dodgy finger.
The wound closure strips and cohesive bandage are spot on, and the whistle’s a nice extra. I swapped out the tweezers for a sturdier pair, but otherwise it’s well thought out.
