Our Verdict
Comfortable in heat, quick to dry, and designed for fast movement, the updated OMM Bearing Zip Tee S/S is a technical tee with a sharp focus on breathability and function. The short collar and quarter-length zip are welcome additions, offering quick cooling when the temperature rises and a bit of extra coverage for the neck under a pack or in the sun. At 142g (Medium), it's on the lighter side but feels robust enough for regular use.
The 4-way stretch Coolplus polyester dries quickly and doesn’t cling, even when working hard. I like the feel of the fabric; it's soft next to the skin but still structured enough not to bunch under the straps. Flatlock seams are sensibly positioned off the shoulders, and the Polygiene treatment helps it stay fresh over multiple days.
