Our Verdict
At 53g, the Barview Cap keeps things simple with a soft, unstructured design that sits comfortably without pressure points. The snapback adjustment provides a precise fit and remains comfortable all day. The polyester fabric dries quickly, and the internal sweatband manages moisture well.
Breathability is moderate; it's not as focused on ventilation as other, more technical caps, but it does well enough. The soft brim allows it to pack down easily into a pocket or bag. Durability feels solid for regular use. I like the retro style, which gives it a more relaxed look than technical caps while still being practical for time on the hill.
