Our Verdict
Patagonia's balaclava is an excellent option if you are looking for a versatile and functional piece of headwear. It can be worn like a neck tube in warmer conditions and can then be used to protect your face from the elements when the wind is howling, and snow and sleet are getting blown in your face; it can be warned as a headband or used to protect your ears in windy conditions. This is a comfortable piece to leave on all day, it's soft and supple, and as it utilises Patagonia’s Capilene fabric, it helps move moisture away from the skin, breathes well, and dries quickly.
