The Montane Anti-Freeze XPD Down Hoodie is a high-performance insulation piece for extreme mountain environments. Despite its impressive warmth, it remains relatively lightweight at 660g for a size Large, making it a strong contender for serious alpinists and winter adventurers.
This jacket uses 300g of 750 fill power HyperDRY duck down, which maintains its insulating properties even in damp conditions. The box wall baffle construction maximises loft and minimises cold spots, ensuring optimal thermal efficiency.
The Pertex Quantum Pro eco outer fabric offers excellent wind resistance and water repellency without adding unnecessary weight. This, combined with the fully adjustable hood featuring a reinforced peak, provides comprehensive protection against harsh elements.
Thoughtful features like harness-compatible pockets, a two-way centre front zip, and an internal dump pocket enhance its functionality for technical use. The expedition fit allows easy layering, while adjustable hems and elasticated cuffs help seal drafts.
