Our Verdict
For those who travel light but still want a bag that carries like you're on the trail, the Aero Jet 35L is a refreshing surprise. It’s clearly designed for airport terminals rather than trails, but it borrows all the right things from Gossamer Gear’s hiking DNA.
At 1,128g, the Aero Jet isn’t aiming for the lightest-in-class title, but the organisation and layout impressed me. Two main compartments are cleanly divided, with smart mesh pocketing and a dedicated tech section that keeps laptops off the base of the bag. I found the layout worked really well for short trips or one-bag travel. There’s a hidden RFID-blocking pocket, a discreet Airtag sleeve, and the side pockets are tall enough for 1-litre bottles without feeling overbuilt.
Comfort is better than expected for a travel pack, with broad, cushioned shoulder straps and a well-ventilated back panel. The padded grab handles and luggage pass-through round things out for transit days. It would be good for air travel, hostel-to-hostel movement or digital nomad setups with an ultralight mindset.
