Our Verdict
The combination of merino wool and polyester means you get the best of both worlds, durable but soft. Previous wool/polyester mixes sometimes loose the soft feel of the wool but this isn't the case with the Abisko Wool Hoodie. It feels lovely on and even next to the skin. It is still quite a thin piece so wouldn't necessarily call it a sweater however is hotter climates it could be used as a single layer. The fit is fairly on the nose but is quite a long cut, which I personally prefer. It has the usual Fjallraven quality feel to it and the embroidered logo is a nice touch. This would be a great piece for multi-day hikes as it offers the natural odour resistant quality of merino but durable properties of synthetic materials.
