The Makalu Lite AS is your comfortable and stable companion on mountain adventures! Thanks to its thin tube diameter, the Lite version is very lightweight. The Makalu Lite AS is equipped with the Aergon Air grip.
The developed hollow core technology enables a combination of lightweight construction with large, supportive surfaces. The grip head is fully rubberised and offers maximum grip and control when descending. The Antishock version is equipped with a shock absorption system that reduces impact forces, thereby relieving strain on muscles, joints and ligaments.

- Dynamic Suspension System - The Dynamic Suspension System is a vibration-absorbing construction made of elastomer material. According to a study by the University of Tübingen, it reduces the impact force by approx. 40%, thereby relieving the musculature, joints, and tendons. This tip is to be used with a basket without exception.
