Weighing just 137 grams per pole (120cm version), these fixed-length poles are an excellent choice when every gram counts. The standout folding four-piece design collapses compactly enough to fit neatly into a side pocket or pole quiver, making them especially practical for runners needing to stash poles quickly during technical descents or flat sections. Despite their minimalism, the aluminium construction feels robust and provides confidence on uneven terrain.
The EVA foam grips offer a perfect balance of comfort and weight-saving, providing sufficient cushioning for long runs without adding bulk. The locking system employs a simple knotted cord to secure the poles, an elegantly straightforward mechanism that eliminates the risk of failure or slippage often associated with twist or flip locks—ideal for reliability in challenging conditions.
