Compact, weather-resistant and dialled in for speed, the XC2 is built for days when you want to move fast and stay light.
Pajak says:
Our newest addition to the backpack range - XC2 an ultralight day-pack. Roll-top closure along with reduced seams design protect your gear from getting wet. Its main luggage compartment is also easily accessed from the back. Reinforcements on the bottom for extra durability. Stretch mesh pocket on the front and extra side pocket allow for carrying additional equipment.
Our Verdict
The Pajak XC2 Ultralight features a clean and efficient design that doesn’t overcomplicate things. At 614g, it’s impressively light. The siliconised Cordura feels robust, and the reinforced base gives me confidence when setting it down on rough ground.
The front stretch mesh pocket is generous and secure, but there is only one water bottle pocket, which is easy to access, but I would have preferred two. The compression cords keep everything neat and compact, especially with bulkier items.
The fit is solid, with a close carry that doesn’t shift when hiking at a pace. The ventilated straps breathe well, although there’s minimal padding, so I tend to limit loads to under 6 kg for comfort.
