From steep climbs up jagged peaks to traversing ridges, the Women’s Momentum Shorts are designed for covering greater distances at pace. Made from lightweight but durable Matrix™ double weave fabric they offer full freedom of movement when hiking, running or scrambling in the mountains. Treated with a DWR these shorts will repel water during light showers and dry quickly. Features are stripped back with a soft double layer stretch waistband with drawcord adjustment and a zip pocket in back waistband.
Our Verdict
The women's Rab Momentum Shorts are a stretch woven short in lightweight Matrix single weave fabric, designed for active use in warm temperatures. The fabric choice and styling makes them incredibly versatile so could be used for anything from hiking to running.
They have kept the feature set simple, with just one zippered pocket in the back of the waistband for small essentials. The waistband is stretchy and quite wide, with an elastic drawcord for easy adjustment. It's important to note that the length of these is on the short side with small slits at either end. They may be a little too short for some women's liking but for others they will be just what they need to keep them cool and comfortable on their next adventure.
