Haglofs' LIM Down vest is a super lightweight vest that with a Pertex Quantum shell is jacket that will provide warmth and protection from a variety of conditions.

Our Verdict
Haglofs' LIM Down vest is one of the lightest weight down vests on the market with a good warmth level form the 800 fill down, so is perfect for thise looking for a super light weight mid-layer.
The 800 fill down power offers a decent level of warmth for such a light vest, and will certainly keep you warm in dry cooler conditions as an outer-layer. The Pertex Quantum shell fabric is one of the lightest water resistant shells on the market and helps to keep the weight down Haglofs also use of Hydro Phobic down prevents the down from permanent clumping and will eventually loft back if it does get wet.
I found the fit to be a bit more technical as you would expect from a jacket that can be worn as a mid and outer-layer. The more technical fit means that it is great in combination with a micro fleece and base-layer where you are on the move a lot, or with a thicker insulated layer or shell on top when belaying or more of a winter plodding day.
The Lim vest comes with pretty basic features that you would expect for such a lightweight jacket in this case with two front pockets, but lacks any adjustment in the bottom of the vest.
