Crafted for your high alpine adventures in cold environments, this warm duck down bag harmonises comfort and packability for winter mountaineering, hut-to-hut treks, or bikepacking at altitude. Designed with a slim-fitting, tapered mummy shape and lightweight, wind-resistant Pertex® Quantum fabric, it trims excess bulk where possible while offering you a comfortable night’s sleep in sub-zero temperatures.
The sleeping bag has a clever construction designed to maximise the performance of the 650FP European duck down and offer more heat for fewer grams. The weight-saving chevron baffle design on the upper torso helps to stop the down migrating and keep it where you need it for reliable core warmth. Generous trapezoid boxwall baffles allow the down to fully loft, trapping heat and eliminating cold spots. The bag’s openings have also been engineered to retain warmth, with a down neck collar that you can cinch in snugly and a down-filled baffle along the ¾ length main zip to prevent draughts. Stash valuables securely in the zipped internal pocket, and in between adventures, store the bag in its zipped cotton sack with a protective water-resistant base, keeping it in prime condition.
The Alpine 800 is hand-filled in the UK, and our down is never compressed before use, preserving its loft and warmth for your first mountain mission.
