Our Verdict
Black Diamond's Trail Trekking poles are an excellent general purpose pole and one of the few that adjusts up to 140cm, so perfect for taller people who need this length. The flick locks ensure that you don't have any problems deploying the poles (twist lock poles can sometimes seize in place).
They have the foam handle that extends down the shaft for uphill struggles and they come with a pair of snow baskets that are easily interchangeable with the standard ones that are already fitted. This latest version fo the Trail poles has an improved, softer foam grip.
