Our Verdict
Weighing just over 400g, this 24-litre pack delivers a solid mix of comfort, simplicity and everyday functionality. Made from tough, recycled nylon with a water-repellent finish, the construction feels reliable without being overly bulky. The standout feature is the carry versatility: breathable shoulder straps provide decent support when worn as a backpack, but they also stow neatly away when used as a tote—ideal for travel transitions or quick errands in town.
The layout is straightforward but effective. Dual oversized mesh side pockets can accommodate large bottles, while the main compartment features a couple of internal pockets and a handy top-access section with a key clip. The subtle back Velcro pocket works well for flat essentials, such as travel cards or folded maps. Volume-wise, it’s closer to 21 litres when cinched down, though the expandable top closure helps when you’re carrying extra layers or trail snacks.
This isn’t one for hauling heavy loads or tackling technical terrain, but it’s perfect for lighter day hikes, commuting, or as a streamlined companion for travelling from airport to trail. It covers a lot of ground, both in terms of function and style. Honestly, I can see it getting more use in day-to-day life than on the hill—which, in many ways, is what makes it such a useful bit of kit. It’s breathable, stashable, and made with Fair Trade-certified, recycled materials—a good option for those after packable flexibility with a lower impact.
