Our Verdict
OMM's Rotor Insulated Smock is one of the lightest synthetic layers on the market at just 219g it is the perfect addition to your kit list for any run, mountain marathon, or where you want to move fast and light in colder conditions due to its wind resistance.
The Rotor has 40g of PriamaLoft's top grade Gold filling that provides enough heat to keep you warm while on the move but also as a quick layer to pull on at break time after a run or fast hike, to stop you getting cold. this works well as an outer-layer, but with how the lightweight the Rotor is it makes a perfect midlayer as it will fit under any shell or jacket.
As you would expect from the nature of the jacket it is a pretty close fit so would be good with a base-layer. There is one large two hand pocket with a double zip is fleece lined to help warm your hands back up, and a half zip on the front to get extra ventilation.
