Our Verdict
Smidge insect repellent, which you can find in a new travel bottle here, is a Scottish staple for me in the months between late May right through till the end of September. So, I was pleased to see the guys behind the leading insect repellent have also released 2 small tick removal hooks. One small and one slightly large. This is the safest way to remove a tick if you find one has managed to get on and bite you. Handy to keep in your travel first aid kit, I find I tend to use this on my dog rather than myself, as he seems to attract them like a magnet.
