Ultralight tarp for fast & light adventures. Its light weight is perfectly combined with large internal volume and fine wind resistance. There are 2 separate zippered YKK AquaGuard entrances. Designed for 2 people. But if necessary, it can accommodate 3 people. Area inner living space more than 5,5 sq.m.
PyraOmm Plus Tarp is setup with a trekking pole in the centre or with 2 trekking poles in an A-form for increased inner living space. For the setup, you need a minimum of 4 pegs. Stakes and poles are not included.
Small packed size and volume.
Seams of the shelter are non-sealed. For sealing the seams, we recommend sealant based on silicone.
Setup:
- Stretch corners with pegs in the shape of a regular rectangle.
- Put the trekking pole inside the top of the tent vertically, about 130 cm. For this, a special protective pocket for poles or A-frame made of x-pac is at the top inside the tarp.
- Tighten guy lines for good stretch of shelter.
- Add additional guy lines.
Our Verdict
The Liteway PyraOmm Plus Tarp 3P is a thoughtfully designed ultralight shelter ideal for those prioritising minimal weight on fast and light adventures. Weighing just 576 grams, it offers a spacious interior of over 5.5 square metres, making it comfortable for two people, with enough room for a third if needed. With dimensions of 276 cm by 200 cm and a peak height of 160 cm, this tarp strikes an impressive balance between space and portability.
Constructed from 20D Silpoly Ripstop with a 2000 mm hydrostatic head, it provides solid rain resistance without adding bulk. The two YKK AquaGuard zippered entrances allow easy access and help with ventilation. At the same time, the dual top vents are particularly effective in reducing condensation by promoting airflow, which is essential on humid nights or after intense weather. Reinforced with X-Pac material at stress points, this tarp feels durable even when stretched to its full capacity.
Pitching options include using a single trekking pole in the centre or an A-frame with two poles to increase interior volume. The PyraOmm Plus can pair with Liteway’s mesh inners for added versatility to create a more comprehensive shelter system. A few setup details are worth noting: the tarp does not come with pegs or pre-attached cords, and seams require sealing for complete waterproofing.

- NOTE. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be covered with tips. Or you can put a soft cloth / equipment under the sharp end of the pole. Do not insert the sharp ends of sticks or posts into the top of the shelter. The sharp ends of the trekking poles should always be insulated to avoid breaking the top of the Tent.
