Our Verdict
At 83g, the Rab Perimeter Rolled Beanie is a straightforward yet well-made hat made from 100% recycled polyester. The ribbed knit provides a secure fit without ever feeling constrictive, and the rolled cuff sits comfortably. The yarn has a surprisingly natural hand feel for a synthetic, making it comfortable against the skin. Warmth is consistent in cold conditions, although, like most synthetic beanies, it is less breathable than merino and benefits from ventilation when working hard. Durability is strong for a lightweight knit, with the ribbed design holding its shape after repeated use and washing cycles.
