Our Verdict
The Turbat Peak Fleece Jacket is a solid mid-layer for colder conditions, combining warmth, comfort and dependable construction. Made from Polartec Thermal Pro, it feels soft yet substantial, with enough stretch for unrestricted movement during hiking or scrambling. The ergonomic hood and high collar provide good coverage in the wind, while the extended sleeves with thumb loops are a welcome addition for sealing in warmth.
At 465g (Medium), the Peak is a heavier fleece that delivers meaningful insulation and a snug, anatomical fit. The fleece manages moisture reasonably well, though it is not designed for high-output activity without ventilation. The large chest pocket and two hand pockets provide practical storage and a warm place for your hands.
Durability is excellent, with reinforced stitching and a robust fabric that stands up to the rigours of outdoor wear. For cooler days in the hills or everyday use when warmth and build quality matter most, this fleece offers reliable performance and long-term comfort.
