Our Verdict
The Sunday Afternoons Passport Hat trims the bulk but keeps the essentials: decent coverage from a subtly reshaped brim, good airflow through metal eyelets, and reliable UPF 50+ protection. At under 90g for the medium, it's light enough to bring without thought, and the soft, recycled nylon packs flat and springs back well. The internal adjuster helps dial in the fit. The Sunglass Lock feature is a nice touch, but works best with chunkier frames. It's not built for high winds or rugged abuse, but it would be good for warm-weather treks, when pack space is tight but sun protection still matters.
