It has to be my favourite synthetic jacket of the year. Designed with Mountain Equipment’s exclusive Aetherm insulation, the Oreus provides exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio, loft, and packability, making it one of the brand’s lightest and most compressible insulated options.
Weighing in at 397g for a medium, this jacket is crafted with recycled 10D Plasma fabric, which is both windproof and treated with an FC-free DWR for added weather protection. The Aetherm insulation, constructed of multiple strands of recycled polyester fibres within a heat-reflective layer, resists moisture, keeping you warm in damp or unpredictable weather.
