Our Verdict
The Rab Nitron 25 stays impressively light at just under 600g, yet still feels solid and well considered. The vest-style harness provides a snug, stable fit that stays in place across technical ground, with dual chest straps adding a reassuring sense of security when picking up the pace. The vest pockets are useful—I could grab a bottle, phone, or sat comm device without breaking stride.
External pole storage is excellent, especially for a pack this size. I appreciate the deep front mesh panel, ideal for stashing waterproofs or other quick-access items. The fin-like hip pockets wrap neatly around the body and protrude into the bottle pockets, giving you far more storage than expected.
Durability feels spot on for its weight, with reinforced fabrics where they’re needed most. It’s not cluttered with unnecessary features—what’s here works, and works well.
